Canadians who have ventured to Poland for treatment...

Post by Nick »

1. Have you applied for an Out of Country Health Services coverage and what was the ruling?

2. Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada website states that for visitation to Poland "A valid Canadian passport is required for Canadians intending to visit Poland. The passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the date of your expected departure from Poland. Canadians must also be in possession of proof of sufficient funds for their stay and have travel/medical insurance."

Have you been asked to show proof of medical insurance upon arrival into the country?

Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick,
For me, the answers are No and No. I do have Blue Cross (which covers some things) and Medicare (which also covers a few things), but nobody even asked about any of that in Poland.
