Pediatric CCSVI.

Post by Flashover81 »

Has anybody seen or heard any information about children getting treated for CCSVI. I know children are a small percentage of MSer's.

I have a 14 year old that suffered a attack and has leisons.. Waiting to do the follow up MRI. Just trying to get as much info as possible...

Also a special thanks to all that have made this site possible.:).

I am sorry to hear of your 14 year old being ill:( I also was ill from a young age (17).

Are you going to get your daughter/son a doppler/MRV?

What country are you in?

I'm from the U.S.. I was thinking of getting him tested after the next MRI. And may get him tested anyway.. I live in Southwest Florida and was looking for a testing center that have the expertise and know how to do the test...

There isn't alot of info on children and CCSVI. Was just wondering if anybody has heard of anybody else with children and having them tested and what they found out...

I know the formal studies have an age requirement of being 18. So your best bet is to contact IRs in your area and see if anyone is intrigued by the CCSVI concept.
