how to schedule with an IR???

Post by ikulo »

Is it possible to schedule an appointment directly with an interventional radiologist or do IRs only do testing for other doctors? For example, I could not just schedule an appointment for an MRI on my own, I would need to visit a doctor who would give me a prescription for an MRI. So does an IR work the same way, or could I schedule my own appointment? Hope that makes sense.

I searched and contacted the IR directly. If they require a referral, any GP would do that for you.

The problem is finding an IR treating CCSVI.
