Vertigo is back and optic nerv problems from last few days..

Post by sofia »

Can I have restenosed allready. Its been about 3 weeks since my liberation treatment. First week I was slowly improving, and after a week my vertigo was gone one morning I got out of bed. It has kept away up untill yesterday, and today its back on.

Slowly but steadily everything was moving in right direction, first eyesight, then weakness, then urgency started going, (that was a symptom I only just started feeling a month before my operation, and it wasn't much) Then suddenly my vertigo went away and stayed away fro 2 weaks.

I had to be careful, it came back for a little bit if I had been to busy, but it cleared up in not to long. I have been busy, but it seems to be quite bad now the vertigo. Almost as bad as before procedure.

What is going on, placebo, restenosis, relaps? I'm worried. I just want to find out if there is any more blockages, and to that I have to get an apointment in a fully booked medical facility other side of Europe. It is frustrating.
<div>I have lived with ms for 8 years. The last year has been hell, I've gone from shite to even worse every single month, until my liberation in May. </div>

sofia,

I am sorry to hear this, but I hope you will find some answers soon. Can you email or telephone the doctor who treated you? Maybe you could get scans done locally and send them to this doctor for examination.

Please let us know how it goes,

Sandra

Hi Sofia,

Were you told to have follow up tests?

I had a balloon angioplasty in March 2010. My doctor asked for:

a doppler exam a month after the angioplasty
a venogrpahy in six months time

My doppler showed no evidence of restenosis. I'll have my venography in September.
