Moving to Clearwater FL & looking for MS Doc recommendat
I am in process of moving from CT to Clearwater Beach FL and seeking recommendations for a good doc in the area...any thoughts??? Thanks!!!!
Tacco,
Welcome to the Canadian suburbs.
The University of South Florida in Tampa is about a 40-50 minute drive from Clearwater (from Clearwater Beach it is probably a bit longer). You might want to check out the USF Neurology dept. One of the doctor's there seems to get very good reviews from his patients and he seems to be open-minded towards the potential of different approaches to treatment.

Good luck with your move.

USF has a Fine Neurology Dept. It is definately worth the drive. Dr. "K" is Awesome, however, there is a whole group of dctrs!

The problem comes with the decision of weighing the unknown with the unknown.

I agree on the USF referal. If that doesn't work out, Dr. Donna Hill (at the University of Florida Shands Nuerology Center in Jacksonville) is an excellent neuro. It is a 4-5 hour drive from Clearwater but if you need a second opinion or consulting neuro, it might be worth your while. By the way, WELCOME TO FLORIDA! Life is good here.
