MS, The Industry

The other day I was thinking "why would the medical, pharma, etc community not want to see the end of MS, or any other disease?"

So I compared it to the tobacco INDUSTRY. What would have happened if we outlawed all tobacco use at once? Tobacco farmers out of work, processing factories, marketing, cancer specialists, Drug companies, specialty aids,research centers, and the list goes on ...... They are making sure the transition takes time. Give individuals and businesses the time to adapt. If they don't, it would create too large of an impact too fast on the economy.

MS HAS BECOME AN INDUSTRY that tens of thousands of people depend on to create jobs. Don't get me wrong, most want to see the end of MS. But there are those that don't.

I just wonder if the MS/Big Pharma isn't any different than the oil companies.
One movie i highly recommend is "Who Killed The Electric Car?" This is a
documentary worth watching.

the pittsburgh news the other night showed that a dr. at allegheny gen. in pittsburgh has been working on a treatment that is helping diabetes 2. now imagine this--yep, you got it-has to do with the circulation. they drill a small hole somewhere behind the ear and there is an artery that they get the pressure off of and the pancreas works better. the thought i had was wow!! and then i can't help but think if this pans out can you imagine how much money and the drug money lost. some people in some places aren't gonna let this out there that easy. there are tons more people with diabetes 2. anyway i always said ccsvi is the tip of the iceberg and ms is not all they wanna hang onto and control and as we all well know our good health is not in their best interest. us sickies do keep job security for a lot of people. but there is plenty to go around so they can quit being so greedy.

Well for type 2 diabetes there is a cure if your obese or at least for 75%
of obese people. Yet most don't hear about this.

Or they could just try to loose weight. We don't often give heroin addicts operations so they could keep being heroin addicts and not die. But we are willing to do it to junk food addicts. Colin Rose's blog talks about that kind of thing alot.

Everything in our world is like that. The lumber industry is destroying our forests but to try and protect the forests, and thereby protect ourselves, would put loggers out of a job so it's out of the question. War is a big industry that kills people but if we tried to stop wars, that would put lockheed-martin and a bunch of other war profiteers out of business. I could go on and on (don't even get me started on gold mining.)

What really gets me about this kind of thing, is that it seems to be what people generally want.

HOWEVER-- as far as the MS society goes, I'm sure they could pull a march of dimes and continue to make a pretty profit.

I think there's some interesting information on Colin Rose's blog on a myriad of topics, however, I don't confuse his, or anyone else's word with the "truth".

Sorry, I didn't think the idea that eating healthy (and exercise) is the best policy when it comes to type II diabetes would be so controversial.

As soon as I learnt about the industry taking advantage of us I decided to fight back. I am determined to get the liberation procedure and I stopped taking the MS drugs ( I was on Extevia - the interferon) .
I do not have any contacts with the MS society and I do not make app.s with any nuero.
......pharma and medical industry.......in your face you jerks.
I'm not giving my money to any f*&king doctor to sell your drugs for you.

And why why why can't anybody spell lose? Loose means to set free. Kind of like the Liberation procedure.

I don't mess up his blog with the truth, and he should not be allowed to peddle his horses**t here. If we had the type of operation that would discourage heroin addicts from looking for a fix and allow them to be pain-free until dependency were no longer an issue 'we' would give it. If you think a junkie is only interested in being dependent on heroin, in order to get high and not to to keep away withdrawal, or that if there was the chance to end withdrawal without symptoms, they wouldn't want it, well no hope for you. if you think 'we' would'nt give it to them, same result.

Plus there's a lot of heroin and cocaine in there I hear.
