I don't know if this method has any merit. For sure it is not the usual angioplasty. If anybody has more information, please share it here.
It seems that they remove stem cells from your bone marrow and they inject them into the spinal fluid, I suppose trying to fix the wrongly formed veins.
I am not an English native speaker and maybe I got something wrong. Any correction is also welcomed.

EDIT: It seems that the stem cell treatment is not for the veins but to recover from the MS lesions. It is just a double way treatment.

On a second read, it seems that they are doing two independent things:
- They fix your vein's stenoses, via normal angioplasty.
- They make a stem cell transplant, not for the veins, but to fix the brain lesions.
The text is confusing and I am not sure that this is what they mean, but for sure it makes more sense.
If this is the case, I would say that Dr. Fredman has some desertions on his side!!!

My neuro (actually a CCSVI suporter) is in the process of developing a 3-step MS treatment: CCSVI, stem-cells and baro-chamber. The stem cells from your body are to be inserted in your veins, and as they travel through the veins they are unspecialized tissue cells and stick to the broken vessel and repair it by specializing to be vein cells.
This is the only thing I have heard about stem-cells and CCSVI...

there is a dr. here in the usa that has treated people that were about to loose their legs do to circulatory problems. he treated i think 16 people and 13 were a success. the people had to be really bad to have it done so 13 out of 16 isn't too shabby. i would have to look it up again but as i recall i think he was useing the belly fat adult stem cells and they injected them in the leg veins. evidentily it fixes veins or grew new ones. with our veins being stenosed i follow what the germans are doing and it makes sence to me that they get the veins open hopeing to stop more damage and then the stem cells hopefully repair some of the old damage. ccsvi definitetly has added a new dimension to the ms pot and ccsvi angio. stem cells and hbot makes a lot of sence.
nasti, your neuro. definitely is a keeper. would you mind saying what country you are in? i'm sure not the usa or canada. hope you can treated by him soon.
