fructose/fructans
I work for a company that delivers meals to aged & disability, I don't know if it has become more common recently or they have just started testing for it. Demand for low fructose/fructan meals has taken off.
The basic fact is that most peoples sugar (and salt) intake is through the roof. When you consider a healthy whole foods diet, it is no different to one focussed on low fructose.
The good news is that there is still plenty of great food to eat.
