Anyone here had a clot removed post venoplasty?

I would appreciate hearing experiences from anyone who had venoplasty done w/o stent, developed a clot that blocked their internal jugular, and decided to have it corrected. Please tell me the procedure used, the time lapse between clotting and decision to remove, and the outcome.

I have seen Denise's videos, thanks. She was Dr. Siskin's first patient, I believe. She has many stents.

yes, I developed a clot in left jugular vein and had it removed via open neck surgery. The dr's in the UK felt it too risky to use thrombolysis due to the location. I have been on blood thinners ever since. In the meantime gt hold of some nattokinase (200mg per day) it might not do anything but its worth a shot x
Not sure of outcome as dr refuses to rescan as if it has reclotted nothing can be done. He would prefer me not to know psychologically!
