If you read that article, it sounds like the MS Society has been oh-so-supportive of CCSVI and is funding all this research, etc, etc.

Presentations by CCSVI treatment providers, Dr. Bulent Arslan and Dr. Michael Dake, USF MS neurologist, Dr. Stanley Krolczyk, neurologist Dr. Mark Cascione, patient perspectives, and a silent auction. Walk-n-Roll (2 mile) on Saturday morning, March 5th from 8am - 12 noon.
