Images of MRV...

Post by red-eye »

Hi,
Sorry to jump in - is there a link or a way to see images and examples of MRV's that show the pooling of blood. I tried searching the threads but could only find 1 or 2.
I am not diagnosed (limbo) and I would like to know what to expect when I see the image.

Thank you

It would be neat to have a reference thread with a number of MRVs in it. Here is mine:

What was seen in the catheter venogram was a 100% jugular stenosis on the left and an 80% stenosis on the right in the area of the valves.

Images are reversed when looking at an MRV so the left side is on the right and the right is on the left.

Here is the close-up on my right IJV. I had assumed that the entire "sharkbite" dark area was the valve, but that's really big, isn't it.
