CCSVI treatment on the NHS ???
Does anybody know how long before we may be able to get CCSVI treatment on the NHS? Are any trials being done in the UK to persuade NICE?
Doubt it.
I do not know of any trials being done here at all. The Neurology community here are also a tough bunch who think the whole CCSVI thing is a bit of a joke. NICE are a conservative group and right now there is simply not enough information for them to offer this treatment on an already strained NHS.

Our best chance right now is the Edinburgh Health Clinic, they are proceeding and monitoring in as scientific a way as this procedure allows.
They will make all their findings available as soon as they can.
Honestly I think we're in for a long haul but I have a feeling this will not go away.
It's hard to get a trial going whne the reason for not starting a trial is there's never been a trial. That's a belter of a circular argument.
