WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?
WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?
I think we must start to think beyond angioplasty. Open veins = improvements. But with so many of us restenosing and developing totally occluded veins that are impossible to unblock we must search for other ways to keep the blood flowing.

Agree. check out the endothelial health program, Dania. It's all about keeping the lining of our blood vessels healthy and maintaining nitric oxide balance. Based on cardiovascular Dr. John Cooke's research. Hope it helps-- I wrote it up for Jeff and he's doing well on it.dania wrote:I think we must start to think beyond angioplasty. while i am no longer sure that it is inevitable, restenosis of veins is common for other diesases. the extra large balloons took their toll, for sure but i think we are making progress with angioplastydania wrote:I think we must start to think beyond angioplasty. I know I am excited that the technique is being tweaked and is looking very positive (thanks for sharing CeCe) for those people coming up. This is a huge advancement.
Is anyone looking at what can be done for those who have experienced these major issues with their veins? If we believe this procedure is beneficial to our health then we also believe that if we lose these veins we will be much worse.
On an aside, I think the endothelial heath program should be a first step prior to having the procedure done. If it makes the difference in how your veins will respond to the procedure than maybe some of these other issues will not be such a factor.
