I think cheerleader and Jeff know her and her husband, who writes under Richard M. Cohen, and when he does I think she'll tell this forum. His book, "Blindsided" is a good read. It's not like reading his newspaper stories, but it still holds your attention. Especially if you are or know someone who has been diagnosed with it too.

Sorry. I didn't have the whole title of Richard M. Cohen's book. It is Blindsided: Lifting a Life Above Illness: A Reluctant Memoir. In fact I think I need to re-read it.

1 eye's right....Jeff met with Richard Cohen a couple of years ago. They had a wonderful conversation in NYC. From what we understand, Richard felt he did not want to pursue CCSVI treatment at that time. Jeff advised that he talk to the doctors and maybe get tested---just to know what his own venous issues might be. We haven't heard if he did that or not--but Jeff's had a couple of nice e-mail exchanges. He is a lovely, honest man, a great author and journalist and his memoir, Blindsided, about his experience with MS, is recommended reading.
