Enjoyed the above, but not exactly a scholarly article. Anyone see anything regarding curcumin's neuroprotective effects in a medical journal?
Curcumin research
Re: Curcumin research
Try looking through the Natural Approach forum. We've discussed curcumin quite a bit. You can also search the National Library of Medicine's PubMed journal database.
Re: Curcumin research
whfoods is pretty good at referencing, although not up to APA standards. there are a half dozen or so journal references listed at the bottom of the page you have linked to above. messy, but there. more links, slightly better organized, can be found here (again, scroll to the very bottom): http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tnam ... ce&dbid=78

Re: Curcumin research
For what it's worth... Pretty much every morning I put about 1/3 tsp of tumeric, a couple shakes of black pepper, mix it up with a
splash of olive oil and scarf it down. It doesn't taste like much of anything. Dunno if it does anything good but it doesn't seem to do
anything bad. Fits my no harm no foul rule ....
I heard about this a while back on Coast to Coast AM. The fellow's name is Christian Wilde and he's a regular on the show.

I run a fun little forum site – www.CanadiansTalk.net – check it out. You don't have to be
