Spasticity

Post by Fig8wife »

Thank you to anyone who is taking the time to read this. It started four years ago with extreme fatigue I have two kids and it is very hard to take care of them when I am falling asleep all the time. Next I lost my vision while driving in my left eye twice went to the ER and they said it was an aura and I had migraines. Then then the leg pain that was diagnosed as RLS but after two years of pain I finally saw a neurologist who said it was spasticity. I since have had a brain MRI a lumbar spine and cervical MRI an EMG a EEG a visual evoked test and more I just can't think of all of them and all of these have come back normal and doctors aren't really telling me anything. I am scared and take the pain anymore and having trouble taking care of my kids because of what's going on. So my question is what's next I don't have another appt for a month and from what I understand there aren't many things that cause spasticity. Do you think they are gonna want a spinal tap? Again thank you for your time.

hi :) have a quick read of this - http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/drug ... l/998.html
although the info is a decent overview, I don't consider it super accurate or truly useful in terms of next steps. but if it looks like it makes enough sense to take some action, feel free to ask about how to test, how to interpret results, healthiest food sources, best supplement forms, and smart food combinations.

CAREFUL best to do from food and very tricky to do properly with supplements. YOU NEED MORE INFO TO PROCEED
