Bruise like feeling all over body?

on Friday I was told by a neurologist that is a MS expert that she believes that is what I have been suffering from for at least 7 years now
She started me on a 3 day steroid infusion to try to "put out the fire" as she puts it because i am in the middle of a bad attack & also show inflammation currently on my MRIs

My question is this-I currently have a bruised like feeling throughout my body & it is sore to the touch.
I have had this happen a few times lately since this current attack began & I am wondering if it is a symptom of the MS, due to inflammation or something else entirely.
