Pronator Teres Syndrome and MS

I have typical symptoms of Pronator Teres Syndrome but I am also diagnosed with MS. My Doc says that this could be due to MS. Pl comment

Hi Taurus

Pronator Teres Syndrome is a fairly rare version of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) - aka a trapped nerve.
Some of the typical symptoms could be like MS, but only some of them. The standard test is for the practitioner to tap over the nerve with his/her fingertips to see is you get a sort of buzzing feeling (look up Tinel's sign). It can be a trapped nerve in the elbow (where CTS is in the wrist) and an MRI or Ultrasound scan of the joint may be needed for proper Dx

It can be treated with steroids, and/or resting the appropriate forearm for 2-3 months. Pity we cannot treat MS that way.
