Hi There,
I was sort-of ok (by MS standards) up to a week ago; then suddenly out-of-the-blue I REALLY battle to walk (I need a stick normally but now can't manage 100m), have morning nausea and am immensely tired all the time. So tired that if I lie down flat on the floor I will sleep; this has never happened before. I think that it is tapering off slightly today (could be hope more than reality) but I am still 30% worse-off with my walking and balance.
I don't want to bug my GP with what may prove to be a normal extension of my PPMS, but thought I would ask on this forum first if this sounds like a relapse.....
Regards
Tony
Is this a relapse?
I guess it was...
After another troubled day and night, I am finally able to get out of the house today.
I have come to the conclusion that it WAS a relapse after all. There was also an almighty headache attached to it that no amount of ibuprofen was able to fix. Today I am grateful to have my faculties back to normal (well kinda..) I do still have a reduction in mobility and balance but no-where near what it was like last week. I really despaired for myself last week. Oh well. At least I will recognise it for what it is if it occurs again.....
Rgds!

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better, and hope you continue to improve!
Re: Is this a relapse?
It sounds like a relapse to me. After 2 and 1/2 years on Copaxone, I am having my first major relapse (i have had a couple of mini-relapses). My mobility and balance are way south, and some pain has returned. I am glad you are coming out of it now. That gives me hope.
