Organ Donation

Hello All-

This may seem like a stupid question, but can you donate your organs having multiple sclerosis? I used to be a blood donor until the ms diagnosis and had plans to be an organ donor until my neurologist put the kibosh on that idea. I don't think one can with an autoimmune disease, but I could be mistaken. Any pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
