Have you been abused?

If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Have you been abused?

Post by 1eye »

Taking a break from talk of a cure may be just what the doctor ordered.

My topic is sensitive. I mean no harm.

Are there people out there with disabilities who feel they are verbally abused? Or worse? Are the abusers caregivers? Family members? Does anyone else witness the abuse without trying to stop it?

Do caregivers break off caring to avoid having to help or confront abusers?

Do people who think they are being abused feel depressed about the prospect of further abuse? Is there someone to talk to about it?
