Worms (one for Lyon)

Post by bromley »

Lyon,

As the "worm man" you might be interested in the following. A different kind of worm, but British, so a superior worm than those you have promoted.

All the best

Ian

A superior British worm? Sure, in 1907, but this 2007, there are worms all over the world that have passed this one by.

Ian old friend, us Yanks were kind enough to send the Necator americanus for this little Limey experiment, are the English chocolates heading back on the return trip?

By the way, good article, thanks!

I think I've included this link before http://asthmahookworm.com/ and I again will say that I don't agree with what this guy did, but I can't help but find it interesting (and shocking and disgusting).

I begrudgingly have to admit that what I now consider the "hygiene hypothesis+" began in the UK http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hygiene_hypothesis and some of the best research in the field remains in the UK.
