If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Adderall for Fatigue

Post by tt89 »

Has anyone used this drug for Fatigue? Just curious. Any problems with Neuro giving it to you or the insurance companies.
Im told it works great for Fatigue but some Neuros stick to Provigal ( Ick).
Would like to hear from anyone with info if they have used or use this drug for MS Fatigue.

Thanks a bunch

Hi Everyone
The Neuro wants me to try Ritalin for 30 days twice a day...
Picked up my Rx today.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help as always

No No...
I just said they warned me thats all. Not trying to lose any weight at all. They warned me it could happen..
This is strictly for fatigue.
I didn't like Provigil because it would speed me up for a few hours and I'd crash hard..

I've tried provigil for fatigue, didn't really help much, I was able to fall asleep even within 2 hours of taking it.
My neuro said it's not so much for fatigue as for cognitive fog.
I can't say I saw a difference there either.
My insurance wouldn't pay for it anyway, my Doc was nice enough to get a bunch of samples. It differs from ritalin and aderall as it's not an amphetamine right?
I don't know if I could handle those, I feel like I'm always on the verge of a panic attack anyway.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle..
