CCSVI being highly associated with MS would make it a significant one of those factors. Unfortunately, the bulk of the studies coming out now do not demonstrate an association with MS much less "highly" associated. For some reason, Dr. Zamboni is standing alone in this regard. I would lik...

Taken seriously ? Are you kidding? He deserves a Nobel prize ! Zamboni was studying arterial flow via color Doppler . These tests show red as oxygenated blood and blue as deoxygenated venous blood and he noticed that people with MS had reflux (which looks purple) After he saw this finding a few tim...

They seem to have 0% in all subjects (pwMS and healthy)?? "....that no subjects so far studied have CCSVI according to the criteria proposed by Zamboni...." Their analysis seems to be flawed. R. Or maybe they've just got good sonographers who don't press down too hard and therefore don't ...

Re: FTY720 (fingolimid) Trials

I'm a newbie to both is site and to to MS as I received my diagnosis of RRMS in November, 2007 from Dartmouth Med Center. I have been evaluated by their MS Clinic and was given information Refib & Copxone. They also suggested to consider applying for an opening in the FTY720 phase III trials. I...

I am very encouraged by rHIgM22. It's not even toxic, I want to try it today. Anything to reduce the effects of short circuiting wiring. Avonex rocks (5 days a week), well I haven't accquired any new stuff in over 2 years for it. The two together I reckon is the basis of a real management for this ...

Here is another piece of research published today. http://www.msif.org/goexternal.rm?id=3906 That's a very interesting piece of research, they're doing really good work at UCL and Cambridge. From what I've read before it seems that the problem of getting the stem cells to the correct locations was ...
