garyak,
what meds did you get from PI post procedure? Were they expensive? Is that something Canadians might get before we go (march9th-). We were in Poland beginning of July. Good results for about 5 weeks.

Kate, not sure why the change. The paper with the prescriptions noted on it from the Kliniki says to take-
Plavix 75 mg once per day one month,
Aspirin 150mg once a day per one month,
Clexane 0.06 s.c. once a day for 14 days.
Can this be clarified?
Sorry to make more work for you,
Steve

Peter, Great to hear from you. Hope you are doing well. Are you able to keep the house cool enough. 33C day after day will warm everything up to that temp and AC's sometimes have trouble keeping up. Has Monika had a change in energy levels or leg strength? Good to hear about her improvements. Edith ...

I'm so glad to hear reports from the Tychy group. Mel and Trudy we wanted to see you in Krakow but it sounds like you had a great time there as well. Our hotel was just far enough away from the Old Square that all the eating and Polish beer was being used up from all the walking and pushing Edith's ...

What a great group of friends we have here in Tychy. It's been great to met people from Denmark, Hungary, Holland, UK, US, lots from all over Canada. Then there are3 the many local people at the hotel and Kate's office. We feel like we have a whole new family. It's interesting to meet people that we...

It was stated on another site that CEO at Royal Victoria Hospital stopped all angioplasty surgery for MSers. If that's the case, Shame shame shame.

So happy for the Farrell's.

We take the milk run Friday. Winnipeg to Montreal, overnight to Frankfurt then to Katowice by 1:25 PM. I say to my wife and friends that we are cautiously optimistic. She says thats right, I'm cautious and she's optimistic. I guess that's why we get along. Is there a computer available at the hotel ...

Bill, MY wife and I spent my 50th birthday in Prague. A great, very old brew pub just off Wenceslas Square with great food, great beer and great atmosphere. 12 years ago things were cheap if you went a few blocks off the travelled path. Go see the Jewish Cemetery, it's eye opening history. Enjoy the...

We are waiting for a week if treatment happens before we fly back to Winnipeg, but another thread has put a little doubt in my head about whether we should stay another week. On it they are wondering if cabin pressure is causing restenos...

We will be leaving for Tychy in less 2 weeks. How important is it to have Mri's to take along or what other records should we have. I was under the perception that they would test for blocked veins and fix that if possible and necessary. My wife has had a diagnoses of MS since 91. We are in Manitoba...
