Huh! I'd heard about the doc in FL but never heard he got shut down.

I was crushed. But I snapped out of it in two days, sent letters to local Dr's. Got back a really negative response.
Then I decided I was in far too rough shape to be trying to find a local Dr right now. I decided to go out of the country and get Liberated. Then, hopefully feeling better, I could look for someone local for follow up care.
I'm going to New Delhi, waiting on visa right now.

Laura,
What a shame about your having to go to India for treatment. Some day this episode in medical history will be right up there with the giving our GIs LSD- experiment!. What a travesty......
Good Luck in your travels and SUCCESS with liberation.Keep us posted
Actually I'm kind of excited to go. Last June in 2009 I was at EDSS 1.0, but this June 2010 I am at EDSS 6.5 so I really can't afford to wait. And going to India sounds kind if neat.
It is easy to get the procedure in Europe but there are huge waits (I got my dates from Bulgaria, it is next February). Impossible in Canada, hard in US. Mexico is just gearing up. India doctors seem to have the experience, be cheap enough for those of us without insurance, and have no wait.
Anyway, I think it will be fun and you can bet I will post about it when I get back.
