CLINICAL STUDY Atlas Orthogonal tool.

Post by dania »

I received this treatment yesterday and cannot believe the improvements I have. Dr Scott Rosa who is doing the study told me that when your cerebral spinal fluid flow is compromised that effects our blood flow. He will be contacting me when he reviews all my Fonar MRI scans.

could I ask what improvements you had?

I also did not see a mention of "the study". Could you let us know something about it?

OMG. The improvement keep coming. Sitting up straight, typing with both hands, heat not bothering me, was able to change my clothes, (someone always helped dress me), my 24/7 contracted muscles are now relaxed, I have been awake ALL day (usually I fall asleep at least 6 times a day), my hand was not shaking when I was eating, transferring myself with ease, improvements just keep on coming. Dr Scott Rosa told me I should keep improving. I did not believe him but he was right.
I posted a question to Dr Flanagan on his thread here and he told me of the study and asked Dr Rosa that I be part of it. It was in Albany NY and there were about 5 doctors there. Dr Rosa has done a previous study on MS patients and he found that with this treatment people got improvements. He said that if your cerebral spinal fluid is compromised it will effect your blood flow. My question is on this page.

Hi Dania, I saw that you were asking Dr. Flanagan in his thread about the possible problems in your neck. Did he recommended you this technique? Is he aware of this technique? a year ago the recommended procedure was called NUCA and it was quite different.

Yes Dr Flanagan recommended that I be part of the study. He asked Dr Rosa to include me.

This result does not surprise me ... as a patient (not MS) who has benefited from upper cervical care and studying this for 14 years or so I think it's time to check it out. I have a copy of as yet unpublished pilot study by Italian medical doctors. I hope it gets published shortly. The doctors also have a big study planned and have recruited, I believe to date, 350 people for a 500 person study utilising upper cervical care as an approach to potentially improve or reverse MS. Obviously more work to be done. Watch this space ... contact me if you wish at http://www.upcspine.com

UpCspine,

good to see you here. some may say this is a ccsvi site which it is. but, hindered blood flow is hindered blood flow. or csf flow or nerve issues in the spine. this approach being part of mainstream diag. and treatment is long long over due as you said. i agree 100 per cent.

Just was informed that Dr Rosa is the only chiro that uses FONAR MRI scans to get the exact coordinates for the treatment. All the other Atlas Orthogonal Chiros get the coordinates from X rays. He is seeing things in the MRI scans not seen in the X rays.

dania, FANTASTIC news that your adjustment gave you so much help! I'm so happy for you!!

UpCspine, your website is chock full of great information and links to some terrific illustrations! Was glad to see my AO chiro is listed on your page of AO doctors. Btw, Dr. Flanagan (uprightdoc) has a thread here at TiMS called "CCSVI and CCVBP" that you might like to check out if you haven't already: http://www.thisisms.com/forum/chronic-c ... -2205.html

Welcome UpCS,

First, thank you for creating your site. I located both of my chiros using it. A great resource!

I tried AO before NUCCA. Was only treated once with AO, had good results, but mobility issues are hampering my efforts to return. Had smaller benefit from NUCCA (hand manipulation). No lasting results. Maybe FONAR/AO Is the ticket?

Thanks, dania, these illustrations show the consequences of a misaligned atlas and show that a picture really is worth a thousand words.

4) Internal jugular vein
5) Internal carotid artery
