Thoughts on magnesium l threonate?

Post by Anonymoose »

Has anyone tried it? It's supposed to be better than other mag forms at increasing mag levels in the brain.

I haven't tried magnesium threonate, but here is mention of it last December with general information on magnesium:

In the Different Types of Magnesium Supplements section I found this mention of magnesium threonate – brand-new to me.

"Magnesium threonate is a newer, emerging type of magnesium supplement that appears promising, primarily due to its superior ability to penetrate the mitochondrial membrane, and may be the best magnesium supplement on the market"
My hypothesis: excess insulin (hyperinsulinemia) plays a major role in MS, as developed in my initial post: http://www.thisisms.com/forum/general-discussion-f1/topic1878.html "Insulin – Could This Be the Key?"
