Hello! I just wanted to introduce myself. I am 45 y/o chicklet recently diagnosed with RRMS. I've probably had it for quite a while.
My primary symptoms are numbness in my feet and legs and left hand, I am as clumsy as they come, and the fatigue has been ruthless.
I am currently taking Prednisone and I actually for the first time in I don't know how long feel wide awake past 2:30 in the afternoon.
Thanks for this wonderful site, and for having me:)
Tami

My Neuro says that steroids can cause really bad affects to the body later on. I chose not to go that route maybe I was wrong. I found out about Modafinil from a cousin-in-law with SPMS, I have RRMS but have crazy bad fatique. This is a drug for people with Narcolepsy(SP?) It seems to really work for me, keeps me awake without that hangover feeling. It is a non-addicting drug as well. Just an FYI not trying to be a drug pusher or anything.
